These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, platform, applications, services, job board, career resources, and related services made available by Public Health in Tech, LLC doing business as Public Health in Tech (“PHIT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the PHIT website, including publichealthintech.com, or any related platform or service (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.
If you are using the Services on behalf of a company, organization, government agency, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and “you” includes that entity.
PHIT operates a career and employment platform designed to connect public health professionals with employment opportunities across public health and other industries.
The Services may include:
PHIT may modify, add, suspend, or discontinue any feature or portion of the Services at any time.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or otherwise use any portion of the Services that requires registration.
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide to PHIT is accurate and complete.

You may not use another person’s account or permit another person to use your account except as expressly authorized by PHIT.
PHIT reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information, violate these Terms, or otherwise present a risk to the Services or other users.
If you use the Services as a job seeker, you may create a professional profile, search for employment opportunities, submit applications, communicate with employers, and use other career-related features.
You are solely responsible for the information and materials you submit, including resumes, credentials, employment history, education, skills, certifications, professional qualifications, and other profile information.
You agree that:
PHIT does not guarantee that you will receive an interview, employment offer, employment opportunity, compensation, or any other particular outcome from using the Services.
PHIT is not your employer, recruiter, staffing agency, employment agency, or legal representative unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
You are responsible for independently evaluating employment opportunities, employers, compensation, job requirements, and other information before accepting an opportunity.
If you use the Services on behalf of an employer or other organization, you are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of information you provide to PHIT, including job descriptions, compensation information, qualifications, benefits, employment classifications, and application requirements.
You represent and warrant that:
Employers are solely responsible for hiring decisions, candidate evaluation, interviews, employment offers, compensation, onboarding, employment relationships, and compliance with applicable employment laws.
PHIT does not guarantee the quality, qualifications, accuracy, or availability of any candidate or job opportunity.
PHIT may remove, modify, reject, or restrict a job posting or employer account if PHIT reasonably believes the posting or account violates these Terms, applicable law, or the integrity of the Services.
PHIT provides a technology platform intended to facilitate connections between job seekers and employers.
PHIT does not:
Any employment relationship is solely between the applicable employer and employee.
You may submit, upload, post, transmit, or otherwise provide content through the Services (“User Content”), including resumes, profiles, photographs, biographies, job postings, messages, documents, and other materials.
You retain ownership of your User Content.
By submitting User Content, you grant PHIT a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, format, modify as technically necessary, and otherwise use your User Content as reasonably necessary to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
This license continues for as long as reasonably necessary for PHIT to provide the Services and to comply with legal, regulatory, backup, archival, and legitimate business requirements.
You represent and warrant that:
PHIT does not claim ownership of your User Content solely because you submit it to the Services.
The Services may allow users to submit professional and employment-related information, including resumes, work history, education, credentials, skills, certifications, and other information relevant to employment.
You acknowledge that information submitted through the Services may be made available to employers or other users as necessary to facilitate the applicable Services.
Employers are responsible for their use of applicant information and must comply with applicable privacy, employment, and data-protection laws.
PHIT’s collection and use of personal information is also governed by the PHIT Privacy Policy.
PHIT may provide tools that allow users and employers to identify, search, or filter opportunities based on public health competencies, skills, experience, or related attributes.
Competency classifications, filters, recommendations, and related information are intended to facilitate discovery and may not reflect a complete or definitive assessment of a person’s qualifications.
Users and employers remain responsible for independently evaluating qualifications and job requirements.
PHIT may offer beta, pilot, early-access, or experimental versions of the Services.
Beta Services may contain errors, bugs, incomplete functionality, or other limitations and may change substantially before general release.
PHIT may modify, suspend, or terminate a beta program at any time.
By participating in a beta program, you acknowledge that PHIT may collect feedback, usage information, and other information regarding your experience with the beta Services for purposes of evaluating, improving, and developing the Services, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, PHIT does not guarantee that beta features will become part of the commercially available Services.
You may not use the Services to:
The Services and all related software, technology, designs, graphics, logos, trademarks, text, compilations, features, functionality, and other materials provided by PHIT (“PHIT Materials”) are owned by or licensed to PHIT and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, sell, license, or otherwise exploit PHIT Materials without PHIT’s prior written consent.
PHIT, Public Health in Tech, Public Health 360, PH360, and related names, logos, and marks are trademarks or service marks of PHIT or their respective owners.
No rights are granted to you by implication, estoppel, or otherwise except as expressly provided in these Terms.
The Services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, platforms, payment processors, social media services, or other resources.
PHIT does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, including their availability, security, content, privacy practices, or terms.
Your use of third-party services is subject to the applicable third party’s terms and policies.
Certain Services may be offered for a fee. If you purchase paid Services, you agree to pay the applicable fees disclosed at the time of purchase or set forth in an applicable order form, subscription agreement, or other written agreement.
Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed by PHIT.
PHIT may change pricing prospectively upon reasonable notice.
Any enterprise, employer, partnership, or other commercial relationship may be governed by additional written terms between PHIT and the applicable customer.
Your use of the Services is subject to PHIT’s Privacy Policy, which describes how PHIT collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information.
Where PHIT processes personal information on behalf of an employer or other customer, the parties may enter into a separate Data Processing Addendum.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES AND PHIT MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
PHIT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND SECURITY.
PHIT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:
You are responsible for evaluating information obtained through the Services before relying upon it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PHIT AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF PHIT ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PHIT FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
These limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PHIT and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or relating to:
PHIT will provide reasonably prompt notice of an indemnified claim and reasonable cooperation, at your expense. PHIT may participate in the defense of any claim with counsel of its choosing.
PHIT may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, if PHIT reasonably believes that:
You may stop using the Services at any time.
Upon termination, your right to access and use the Services will cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions concerning intellectual property, User Content, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, confidentiality, dispute resolution, and other provisions intended to survive.
PHIT may update these Terms from time to time.
If PHIT makes material changes, PHIT may provide notice through the Services, by email, or by other reasonable means.
The updated Terms will become effective on the date stated in the updated Terms. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
A failure to enforce any provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that provision.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without PHIT’s prior written consent. PHIT may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional written agreements applicable to particular Services, constitute the entire agreement between you and PHIT regarding the Services.
You consent to receiving communications from PHIT electronically, including notices, updates, and other communications relating to your use of the Services.
PHIT will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
